A table tennis ball is also known as a ping pong ball. The ball is made of plastic, colored white or orange, with a matte finish. The choice of ball color is made according to the table color and its surroundings.
Manufacturers often indicate the quality of the ball with a star rating system, usually from one to three, three being the highest grade. As this system is not standard across manufacturers, the only way a ball may be used in official competition is upon ITTF approval.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this gi. I will use it strictly for grading purposes. It's true a special feel, heavy, stuff and has that snap that you want in your gi especially for Kata. Special thanks to SNT and their staff as well. I think my next gi will be a kumite gi.
This gi is lightweight so it's easy to use for classes. In our style, it is quite demanding and training is 2 hours long and I've felt considerably cooler during class and easy to move around. I recommend this gi for any serious karateka.
